This project is sponsored by International Finance Corporation (IFC- member of the World Bank Group), International Labor Organization (ILO) and Better Work Vietnam. In this project, Kim Dang Consulting takes responsibility to expand the application of GEAR project in Vietnam.

-Phase I (in the South of Vietnam): Begin with a technical training course for 30 female trainees from 5 garment factories in November 2019.


-Phase II (in the North of Vietnam): Based on the positive feedback from factories participating in Phase I, GEAR continues to be expanded to the North. This program helps to improve the line-level productivity of many production lines by equipping female operators with the skills needed to effectively perform once promoted as a line leader, in the period from June to October 2020. Kim Dang Consulting continues the mission of bringing this meaningful program to the North of Vietnam with 5 other factories participating in Phase II starting from June to November 2020.

Since August 2020, the project continues to launch for an expansion period with the funding of International Labor Organization (ILO) to some northern provinces of Vietnam.
